Speaking of Dean(see below), he blogs on the TPA hearing in Waukesha. I wasn't there. I was discussing, among other things, transexuals on WMCS. But he notes the disproportionate presence of public employees in what was, I take it, heavy opposition to the TPA.
It's a good point. In the six months or so I have been writing a newspaper column, I have learned that, if I really want my mailbox filled with e-mails calling for my torture and immolation, all I have to do is suggest that some perk enjoyed by public employees needs to be reexamined. Nothing - and I mean nothing - brings more heat.
